Charity Fashion Show
On Sunday the 16th of August, 2009 a Charity Fashion Show was held in SPY Nightclub Dublin, in aid of the dog charities A Dogs Life (CHY 18640) and Friends of Ben (CHY 18143). Also on the night a donation was made to Irish Autism Action. This was the first major event for the two charities. A Dogs Life is a non-profit group whose volunteers work hard to give pound dogs the chance of a better life. They rescue stray and surrendered dogs that are not reclaimed or rehomed from Dunboyne Pound which is the pound for South Dublin County Council. Friends of Ben are a voluntary organization based in Ireland and their aim is to help dogs in the Irish pounds. Their main focus is to help the restricted breeds, but we will also help any other dog in danger. Both charities are heavily dependent on volunteers and donations from the public so that they can continue doing great work helping dogs in need.
