Dogasaur Loves Rachael Ray
by Christine Yee on August 6, 2009
Why? Because she is a responsible owner and also helps dogs who are less fortunate.
Here is a clip from a few years ago which shows how quick the process of microchipping is. Her dog’s name is Isaboo. In addition to sending the message that we should microchip our pets, this also reinforces the concept that pitbulls are wonderful family dogs.
In the event that our pets are ever lost, microchipping helps guarantee their return. Many of us are aware of this but might feel reluctant to have this done. Watching this demonstration helps alleviate any fears we have about the process.
Also Rachael’s dog food brand, Nutrish sponsors the Pet Postcard Project to feed homeless dogs. Anyone can participate by making cards using photos of their dog. For every postcard that’s submitted and meets the project guidelines, Nutrish has pledged one pound of dog food. Here are the details.
On a final note, check out these yummy recipes that she has created for dogs: Oliver’s Summertime Strawbanana Treat
