During my last live-in relationship my partner had bought a puppy as a gift for me. I'm in the process of moving out and I believe he will give me trouble for taking the puppy. How do I go about proving that the dog is mine??

My partner paid for the puppy and I"M SURE has the receipt for "olive". He also has paid for her first shots, so he has a receipt saying he is the owner on the shots receipt. But when he purchased "olive" from the breeder, the breeder gave me a "welcome to your dog" folder with some puppy food and miscellaneous information, and the folder is directed to me as the breeder also knew that the puppy was a gift for me, so she labeled the folder and things with my name on it. Does a dog have to be registered in order for it be considered "owned" or how can i make sure that i can take her with me when i move out???

Apartments that allow pets near Pickerington Ohio?

Hey guys! I'm trying to find an apartment in central Ohio, preferrably in a decent neighborhood that would allow me to have my 7 year old rottweiler. I only know of one location in pickerington. The apartment is a house divided up and does "dog interviews." (No breed restrictions.) Thanks!
